It is with purpose and resolve that we welcome you to the Haitian American Leadership Initiative (H.A.L.I.). You are called to serve as a steward of hope—guided by the ideas and ideals we share, and by a profound sense of responsibility toward our people. Like many before us, we have borne witness to the enduring trials of Haiti. Yet witnessing alone is no longer sufficient. The moment demands clarity of vision and a new paradigm of action—one capable of dismantling the lingering yoke of collective mental subjugation and confronting the enduring psychological imprint of colonialism, while securing a dignified future for the next generation.
